Boomerang is a kind of "Return" The boy understood the reference to the light saber used by JEDI Masters. We have energy, words, and we shoot those out, often without considering their meaning, how our actions may affect another. In this case, the boy came to understand how his light, his energy, his actions, came back to him. They got him in trouble. I have since read that Boomerangs are supposed to return. Not sure which is fact: returning, or not because they are shot out to fell something like in a hunt. I suppose this is a bit convoluted.

This is how I see it mathematically. Jesus asked us to turn the other cheek… which to many may seem like giving up or a negative. But as we’ve learned, wagging war to end war does not end it.
