The Stories of the Stones – Day 1
Today, we embark on a journey. Journeys are often called Quests when they bring a sense of adventure and magic.
Today’s stone has a story to tell you and it will begin to tell you its story here, but for you to make it your story, too, you may need to touch and hold such a stone or another of the stones that will be speaking at the POFFF sometime soon.
BLOODSTONE. Stone of courage.

Sometimes our fears stop us from being who we most wish to be–fearless, strong, able to do anything we set our hearts and minds on.
Courage is the ability to act, not in a way that will bring you into danger, but in a way that will allow you to move through something that may have been stopping you. You may be on one side of a rickety bridge or a narrow passageway, metaphors or another word for how everything feels right now.
Bloodstone can be your shield to carry you through a difficult time. It can be a stone that looks deep red, red-brown or some mixture of colors.
Bloodstone is a legendary stone. It has been held in high regard by many ancient cultures throughout the ages. Some believe that it was formed when the blood from Christ’s wounds fell from the cross and stained the earth around Him. It is believed to have powers over wounds and illness, healing our bodies, minds and spirits.

Bloodstone is here now. It comes as a friend to help us better understand the earth.
It can be part of your quest to follow the yellow brick road to the place where all magic happens and all beings learn how magic they really are. It is a place called Home.
